HISTORY OF THE CANNOLI

Cannoli are a beloved Italian dessert that originated on the island of Sicily, most notably in the region of Palermo. Traditionally prepared during Carnevale—a festive season of indulgence before Lent—cannoli were once a symbol of celebration, joy, and togetherness.

Over time, they became a staple of Sicilian pastry culture, known for their crisp, golden shells and rich, sweet ricotta filling. As Italian immigrants brought their traditions to the United States, cannoli quickly grew in popularity, becoming an iconic expression of Italian-American heritage.

Today, cannoli are enjoyed year-round and have evolved into both classic and modern variations—while still honoring the craftsmanship and flavors that made them timeless.

At The Cannoli Brothers, this tradition is deeply personal. Both of us were raised in families rooted in Italian restaurant culture, where food was more than a meal—it was how we celebrated, connected, and created lasting memories. Inspired by our heritage and our family roots from Siracusa and Bari, we bring that same spirit of warmth, hospitality, and joy to every event.

Our goal is simple—to give you more than dessert. We bring you a true Italian experience… one that feels like family.

Con amore e dolcezza
